Amy S. Armstrong, MD

Dr. Amy S. Armstrong is board certified in Internal Medicine with a strong personal interest in health and fitness. A native of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Dr. Armstrong graduated from Troy University in 1997 and received her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in 2001. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at USA Medical Center and served as chief medical resident from 2004–2005. Since that time, she has worked as a hospitalist admitting and caring for patients with a variety of illnesses throughout their hospitalization. She has completed additional training through the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine, APT Medical Aesthetics, and in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

As a Christian, Amy feels a strong calling to help others live their best life. Her work at LaBella Rx focuses on wellness and the prevention of chronic illnesses. Anyone who has concerns regarding their weight, energy, fatigue, sleep patterns, moodiness, loss of endurance, decreased muscle mass, increased belly fat, hormonal changes, or skin would benefit from a consultation with Dr. Armstrong.

Amy and her husband, Jonathan, were married in 1997 and share two children, Grace and Jack. In her spare time, Amy enjoys CrossFit, training for obstacle and terrain races, offshore fishing, cooking and spending time with her family on the water.

Meg Bradley, MSN, FNP-C

Meg Bradley joined LaBella RX in 2025, bringing with her a strong foundation of clinical experience and a passion for helping patients look and feel their best.

An Alabama native, Meg earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University before pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Auburn University and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Meg brings with her seven years of experience working in the fast-paced environment of the emergency department, where she gained extensive experience caring for patients with a wide range of medical needs. This background not only strengthened her clinical expertise but also deepened her belief in the importance of prevention and wellness to avoid future illness.

At LaBella RX, Meg is excited to focus on weight management, hormone optimization, aesthetic treatments, and overall wellness. She is committed to partnering with patients to develop personalized care plans that not only address their current needs but also set them up for long-term success.

Meg’s goal is to empower every patient she meets with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to feel confident, healthy, and balanced at every stage of life.

Mary Smyes, MSN, FNP-C

Mary Symes, MSN, FNP-C, joined LaBella RX in 2025, offering an extensive clinical background and a passion for helping patients look and feel their best.

A Mississippi native, Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alcorn State University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Mary has over 14 years of experience working in high-acuity settings, including the emergency department and intensive care unit, where she cared for patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions. This background strengthened her clinical judgment and reinforced her belief in the importance of prevention, wellness, and proactive care. She also brings experience from the medical spa setting, with a focus on skin treatments and wellness-based therapies.

At LaBella RX, Mary specializes in aesthetic treatments and overall wellness. She is committed to partnering with patients to create personalized, evidence-based care plans that address current concerns while supporting long-term health and longevity.

Guided by her faith and the principle of purposeful service reflected in Romans 8:28, Mary approaches each patient interaction with integrity, compassion, and excellence. She values collaborative, patient-centered care that honors the whole person and supports wellness across the lifespan.
